How It Works

MailMask is an easy to use email forwarding service that helps you to stay save and private on the internet.

After entering your own email address, we send you a mail with a unique and randomly generated MailMask address. This email address is uniquely fit to reroute incoming mails to your address. This way your real address is kept secret for the website, app or newsletter you hand the MailMask address to while still receiving every message you want.

Your MailMask address consists out of a unique id and the domain ending "@mailmask.me".

MailMask never processes the content of your incoming mails. The data is stored only for forwarding and is deleted after the mail has been sent to your real email address. We value privacy and invite you to go through our privacy policy.

This project is open source. In case you want to know more about the inner workings of MailMask, head to the source code here.

Canceling your MailMask address

In case you want to cancel all incoming messages to the address, simply click the link of every incoming mail or head here. This deletes every trace of the address from our servers and cancels all future emails.

How does MailMask make money?

We don't generate any revenue from our services. MailMask is a self-financed project which needs community support to operate. Head to the support page if you want to support the development and help us grow the project.

Cancel Your MailMask

If you wish to cancel or deactivate your MailMask forwarding address, simply paste the email in the following form and confirm your submission.
